Projects
Bozek Productions has the experience and the expertise necessary to produce and manage a project or event that will effectively use the medium to its fullest potential. Look at just a few:
Event Manager for the Nike “FA ’07 US Commerce Sales Meeting”. This biannual sales event is typically staged at several venues in and around the Portland/Beaverton area, requiring an event manager to supervise the needs for each location. Bozek Productions was brought onboard to facilitate the pre-event logistics and onsite management for all technical events held at the Hilton Hotel. Responsibilities included: CAD design, A/V rental, staging, display property, labor, and trucking.
Photographer for Nike Event Marketing & Meeting Management, since 2000. Nike produces all of their worldwide meetings internally; so many in fact, Nike built their own conference center at the world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. These international events extend over a ten day period, twice a year and are enormous in scale. As the photographer in charge of documenting the entire event, Bozek Productions employs additional photographers to assist in covering every aspect, encompassing multiple venues, live theatrical entertainment and fashion shows, VIP athletes, general and breakout sessions, sports activities, dinner cruises, and much more.
Producer/Director/Photographer for the Intel “Solutions Summit 2005”. ISS is an annual training conference and showcase for Intel Premier Provider executives and managers. This relationship-based event is designed to enhance and improve business while having fun in sunny Las Vegas. Bozek Productions was contracted to creatively document the entire event and produce a video “crowd pleaser” collage for the closing dinner. While the graphic elements and soundtrack were produced beforehand, all video footage was shot during the three day event and a video editing system was installed onsite to create the program. Highlights included a golf tournament and entertainment provided by comic Martin Short and Second City.
Event Manager for the “Nike Bauer Hockey Sales Meeting”, 2002 and 2003. This New Hampshire based hockey company is owned by Nike, Inc. The annual event is held in late October; usually somewhere warm such as the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Resort in Florida. This International event combines the distributors and sales force from all over North America & Europe for a week of product information, motivation, and fun in the sun. The event incorporates an off site opening meeting (located anywhere from a community theater to a lion cage at the local zoo), two general session venues, four breakout session venues, a closing session, and several theme activities and events. Bozek Productions responsibilities included the logistics and management for the entire event including: CAD design, A/V rental, staging, display property, labor, and trucking.
Project Manager/Producer/Director of Sorrento Networks corporate identification video. Sorrento Networks is the leading manufacturer of optical metro network products based in San Diego. Bozek Productions created the treatment, as well as produced and directed the video on location, utilizing Four Square Productions to provide coordination, graphics, and post facilities. The project concluded with several versions of the program recorded on videotape and DVD for marketing and sales applications.
Event Manager/Producer for the "See's Candies Annual Service Awards Banquet", since 1995. This is an event where See's brings together their employees for two regional award banquets, in Los Angeles and San Francisco, to honor them for their years served. Each employee is invited to the stage and recognized with a short video segment or PowerPoint support. Bozek Productions responsibilities included the logistics and on-site management for each show combining: a two screen computer presentation, follow spot and video crew complete with switcher and camera for image magnification, video and data projection.
Producer/Director/Photographer for the Electric Lightwave "Switch Room Tour". Typically, when ELI, a data provider and communications company opens a new hub, they customarily hold an open house at the facility. However, the remote location of the new Spokane area switch room made that impractical. The solution was to have the open house at a local Spokane hotel, invite prospective customers and city officials, and present the switch room tour on video at the event. Bozek Productions produced the documentry video in a "This Old House" style, incorporating a tour guide and tour guest as on-camera talent, interacting with one another and walking the viewer through the facility.
Producer/Director/Photographer for the Frito-Lay "Leverage the Beverage" marketing program. This presentation was used as a sales distributor training tool to initiate a greater volume of sales at convenience stores throughout the Northwest. The video featured interaction between on-camera talent, which presented the viewer with the implementation of the program.
Event Manager/Director of the Intel "Starchip 858 Event". Intel held a gala celebration to honor a challenge met by their product technologies development team. Bozek Productions also met the challenge by managing and coordinating the entire event. Hosted by the Intel President at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, the celebration began with an outdoor reception decorated in a space theme. The street was barricaded to accommodate cocktail bars and a performer’s stage to entertain the guests. Later, a costumed procession of actors led the guests inside the auditorium where lights, fog, and ethereal music transformed the hall into a spacey atmosphere. The program ensued with a wide screen multi-image show and computer presentation, followed by a theatrical production combining cast and wardrobe. Bozek Productions support team included a staging crew to change the sets and props for each of the seven scenes, a lighting crew for fog and special effects, and a video crew; complete with switcher and three cameras for image magnification, recording and playback, an audio crew for mics and special effects and a balloon drop for the grand finale. The event continued with dinner and dancing at the Hilton Hotel.
Event Manager for "The Intel Wizard of OZ Expo Room”. The Intelligent Electronics Conference held their annual trade show in Orlando, Florida, and Intel won "Best of Show" for their creative theme. Bozek Productions was employed to transform a 36' x 62' room into "the Land of Oz." At the entrance, a "big screen TV" enclosed within a display set representing the wizard's chamber drew the attendees into the Expo room. As people entered, a second stage set revealed "the man behind the curtain" pulling on levers and gadgets and reacting to everyone entering. The attendees then proceeded to "follow the yellow brick road" into the room, which twisted and turned through the haunted forest of twelve-foot trees with faces. Signage and workstations were located throughout the room to demo Intel's latest technology. After passing a painted mural of the "emerald city”, a photographer awaited to take pictures of attendees posing with Dorothy, the Tin Man and Lion. The photos were then inserted into Intel mouse pads and handed out as give-a-ways.
